Okay... So after suffering through a doctor's appointment last week, I rewarded myself with the purchase of a Munny Mini. Now initially I was going to make one of my original characters, (probably Falon, since she's my favorite)
BUT Munny came with a sign.....and.....and.....
I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF!
Anyhow here is my first 'Munny'. Little chibi Walter Kovacs. Baaaawww! so small and angry! I usually stick to the graphic novel look, but I like him with blue eyes like in the movie. He's mostly colored with markers. His hair is painted sculpey.
Now that is awesome! Hey, where the hell do you buy these little guys? And what paints did you use? *looks* Oh wait, a link. Yay! You did an awesome job on this!
This is amazing! When you say you used markers - what kind exactly? I just did my first Munny the other day with promarkers (I think they're basically the same as copic markers) and it came out kinda streaky - nowhere near as awesome as this! Though, I dunno wether that was because it wasn't a mini one, it was quite big.
But yeah, this is badass, you made Walter Kovacs look adorable - congratulations, haha.
I think this turned out great! I hate to be rude but I also wanted to ask: I'm getting a Munny soon, and I want to use prismacolor markers and I saw you did. I can't find anything about preparations for those! did you prime it before hand like they say to? how easy was it to use the markers?
I did not prime it for markers, the prismacolor work pretty well, if they get layered thick the thing gets a little sticky and you might want to carefully wash it, the color will fade a bit, but you can go in again and brighten it. I layered the color with this one quite a bit. He's held up perfectly too, no fading or anything.
But yeah, this is badass, you made Walter Kovacs look adorable - congratulations, haha.
Thanks (:
