This is fantastic. I really need to get into another figure drawing class somehow before I graduate. I'm terrible with human anatomy still. Great work here ! Also it sure does look like a great model, easily identified joint landmarks and musculature, nice ^_^

Its marvolous! Th way you expressed the muscles without giving TO much detail. Nice sketches :3

Great studies! I love the dynamique in the sketches. The figure being on his back is my favourite pose. I love the perspective, because I find it difficult by myself to draw human anatomy in perspective in the right way.

Thank you so much! The one of him lying on his back is my favorite too.

I love this! So flowy and beautiful...

So how do these life drawing classes work?? I've never been to an art class so maybe it's a stupid question, but do the models just pose like this, however they want? Or does the instructor ask them? Or do you guys have to look at someone standing nude and imagine them in these poses?

Thank you! :hugs: These aren't really done as part of a class per say, but its an open model session with a monitor. So there is no instructor. How it works is the monitor has a stop watch and keeps track of the pose length and the model stands on a platform in the middle of the room and poses for us. The model just poses however he or she likes. Some models are better than others as far as delivering graceful dynamic poses. I really liked this fellow. He did a good job.
