Grid-schach

Those who know me well enough know this was bound to happen… Grid Rorschach.

So once i imagined his helmet, with a moving light dot pattern, the idea would not rest...

Aaaand, I came up with a nerdy little back story for him:

His origins are disputed, but it is believed he was a now obsolete program under the name Kovax imported over from the original grid by Kevin Flynn. He was likely in charge of some low level basic functions which he performed well and efficiently enough.

During the rise of Clu 2, Kovax was moved to the game grid, presumably to derezz for the amusement of higher functioning programs. Kovax suffered extreme damage and near destruction but somehow managed to escape the game grid, the first program to do so under CLU.

He appears again soon after his escape, during Clu’s purge of the ISO’s. Corrupt and malfunctioning, Kovax can only watch in horror as Clu destroys the entire ISO race. Amongst the carnage he finds the remains of a fallen ISO, and swearing vengeance, both for himself and for the ISOs, Kovax takes the cracked ISO disk.

The ISO data merges with his own and Kovax becomes Rorschach, far more powerful but still more corrupt and unstable, a rogue program, a phantom of the grid, constantly on the verge of collapse.

ahhh i hope there are at least a few people who have seen Tron and read watchmen so that makes any sense, lol
